Zines, originally known as "fanzines" in the 1930s science fiction communities, have evolved into a powerful form of self-publishing. They emerged as a platform for social and political activism in the 1960s and gained popularity within the punk movement and Chaos Magick community in the 1970s. Zines cover diverse topics such as music, art, politics, occultism, and fandoms.
Dark Goddess Rising Zine:
Drawing inspiration from my punk rock roots and the early days of Chaos Magick, the Dark Goddess Rising zine was created. Initially, it served as a personal grimoire documenting my healing journey from trauma, a failed marriage, and personal growth. It covers a range of topics, including "hex your ex," shadow work, and self-love rituals.
